About Us

What Is Justice Services of Indiana (JSI) and Who Is Behind the Company?

JSI is a bail bonding company that started in 2012 in Lawrence County, Indiana. It has been a small company that was created to supplement the incomes of the employees. Over the years the employees, have come to find that the joy of helping people who find themselves in need is overwhelming. Therefore, the two top members have decided to make this company their full-time jobs to help as many people as possible, because everyone needs a little help occasionally.

JSI has recently been approved to offer anyone who finds themselves in jail and needing to be bailed out an alternative to the 10% that the jail is ordered to collect. JSI can offer a bond at 8% to get out. An example of this is, if you have a bond of $10,000, you would have to pay the jail $1,000 in cash to get out. If you were to contact JSI, you would only have to pay $800 to get out.

This might not seem like a lot but when you are in jail and a family member is trying to get the money to get you released, $200 is a lot of money. Along with that, if you are bonded out by JSI and you fail to make your court appearance, the authorities are legally authorized to come and arrest you and take you back to jail. Thus, you would have to bond out again.

What Is Our Scope of Services?

JSI also has other services. We offer process serving, notary public, faxing, finger printing, Foreclosed Home Inspections and fugitive recovery. Where Is JSI Located?

JSI’s office is in Bedford, Indiana, just off the square near the jail at 1121 16th Street. The office is open daily from 8:00 am-3:00 pm Tues.-Fri, 8:00 am- 1:00 pm Sat and Mon. by Appointment only, but the bond agents are available 24/7. JSI is authorized to bail people out of jail in 40 counties in Indiana.

Who Are Our Bond Enforcement Officers?

Currently, the company has two dedicated bond enforcement officers, namely, Darin Kinser and Dustin Patton. Darin Kinser received his bonding license in 2017 but has been a big part of the company from the beginning. He lives in Bedford, Indiana and is available anytime, day or night, if needed.

Dustin Patton received his license in 2012 and has been doing this job part-time for the past 6 years. He lives in Springville, Indiana. Like Darin, he is available anytime, day or night, if needed.

These two gentlemen were born and raised in Lawrence County, Indiana and know many people in the county and their needs. Recently, Darin and Dustin decided to dedicate their lives to helping those in need. They quit their full-time jobs to be bail agents. So let’s put them to work!
